Snap Expand is a 2-second text scene where one word fills the whole screen, then snaps down to size as the rest of the sentence appears around it. It is the most aggressive of the Wevi text hooks, built to stop the scroll. It suits launch and promo videos that open on a strong, provocative line.

What it looks like
The first word of your sentence fills the entire frame, so it is the only thing the viewer sees. Then it snaps down to normal size in one quick move, and the rest of the sentence appears around it, paying off that opening word. The whole move is over in about two seconds. It feels urgent and dramatic rather than gentle, and it only works when the first word is strong enough to stand on its own.
It sits at the very start or at a hard reset in the middle of the video, and it feels urgent and provocative.
