Pull-Back Reveal: a 3D website mockup animation with a setup and payoff headline
Pull-Back Reveal is a 5-second scene where the first half of a headline types over a close, dim shot of one window of your real product, then the second half cuts in as the camera pulls back to reveal the whole interface tilted in 3D, with its other pieces popping into place. It carries a setup and payoff, like a problem turning into a promise. It suits hooks, positioning lines and turns in the story.

What it looks like
The scene opens close on one window of your product page, such as a card, panel or chart, shown dim and tilted in 3D. The first half of your headline types on over it. Then the second half cuts in as the camera pulls back, revealing the whole page at an angle while other details, such as buttons, stat cards or avatars, pop into place around the window, nearest first. It runs about five seconds and feels cinematic and confident.
It works as the hook or at a turn in the story, and it feels cinematic and measured.
Best for
- Turning a problem into a promise in one line
- Answering a question you pose on screen
- Stating your positioning over the real product
- Marking a turn in the story before a product section
What you add
- A capture with one clear window and up to 11 details around it
- A headline that splits into two short halves
- An accent color, usually from your brand
Capture tips
- Zoom the browser in as far as you can while everything you want in the shot still fits on screen. A bigger capture stays sharper in the video.
- Pick a page with one clear window, like a medium sized card, panel, form or chart, and separate pieces around it. Do not scroll.
- Select the window first, then up to 11 details elsewhere on the page. Three to eight, mixing small controls with a card or two, read best.
- Choose details on different sides of the window, since they pop in nearest first.

Questions
How should I split the headline?
Write one sentence of about 8 to 12 words that breaks into two halves. Speak the first half while it types and land the second half on the cut, at about 2.4 seconds.
Can I use it to explain how a feature works?
No. It carries a setup and payoff line, not a step by step walkthrough or a list of benefits, and it is not meant for the closing call to action.
Can the page be shown flat instead of tilted?
No. The page is always tilted in 3D and the camera move is fixed. You control the copy, the accent color and how many details pop in.
