What it looks like
An app icon drops into the frame with an unread badge on its corner. A moment later it opens out into a phone-style notification banner showing a title, a time and up to three short lines of text. It interrupts the viewer the way a real ping does, immediate and personal, and holds long enough for the message to be read before the next scene picks up the story.
