What it looks like
Your opening words sit still on one line. The last word of the sentence spins like a picker wheel on a phone, flicking through a list of six or more short words one after another. The wheel slows and settles on a final word, which is the punchline: either the biggest item on the list or a twist that sums up the rest. The whole scene takes about three seconds and feels fast and wide.
