Drum Roll: a slot machine text animation that spins through names
Drum Roll is a five-second scene where a headline opens in the middle and a drum of profile cards spins up in the gap, turning like a slot reel through your list before it eases to a stop on the last name. Each card holds a photo in a circle, a small kicker word and a name. It suits products with named people or personas worth seeing one by one, such as team members, AI agents, customers, experts or roles.

What it looks like
Your headline sits in two halves on either side of a gap. A drum of cards spins up inside the gap, each with a round photo, a small kicker word and a name. The drum turns through the whole list and eases to a stop on the final card, so the headline reads as one sentence with that name in the middle. With Icon Style set to Shapes, the photos give way to brand colored shapes, so the same scene can list features, integrations or plans. It feels precise, mechanical and premium.
It usually comes right after the hook, as the line that shows who or what is inside the product, and it feels precise and premium.

Questions
How many cards does it need?
At least three, with no name repeated. Keep each name to three words or fewer, since long names and sentence fragments do not fit the card.
Can it list features instead of people?
Yes. Set Icon Style to Shapes and the photos become brand colored shapes, so the cards can name features, integrations or plans.
When should I use Roll Call instead?
Use Roll Call to show a whole group rolling past under a title. Drum Roll shows the names one at a time inside a sentence.
